Dear parents, students, and faculty,

Warm greetings to our vibrant school community. As the lifelong chairperson of Doon Sr. Sec. Public School, I’m proud to share the inspiring vision that defines us this year. We are dedicated to offering a balanced educational experience rooted in tradition yet equipped for the digital age.

To prioritise the well-rounded development of our students, we have enhanced our facilities with upgrades this year, including centralised air conditioning and personal WiFi access across the entire school. The installation of a dedicated WiFi tower aims to create a technologically enriched environment, equipping our students with the skills necessary for the challenges of the modern world. Additionally, we have embarked on a comprehensive renovation project for our buildings, creating modernised spaces that align with contemporary educational standards.

Investing in our teachers’ tech knowledge is also a priority for us. Our teachers are currently undergoing specialised training programmes that focus on leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience, making lessons more engaging and relevant for our students. These current technological strides echo our commitment to evolve while staying true to our core principles. Dear DSSPS Community,

As your principal, I take pride in our close-knit community, where students, teachers, and parents foster positive relationships for academic and social growth

Collaborating with parents is central to our philosophy of improving all aspects of school life. This year we have gone one step ahead and introduced a comprehensive two-fold counselling initiative designed to foster a supportive and collaborative environment for our students.

Firstly, recognising the crucial role parents play, we offer counselling sessions on effective parenting strategies and collaboration with the school to create an enriching educational journey for their children. These sessions aim to create a synergy between home and school, providing a solid foundation for the overall growth of our students.

Secondly, for our students, we have implemented career counselling sessions led by industry experts, providing valuable insights for informed career choices. It is our belief that informed career choices lead to fulfilled and successful individuals of tomorrow.

Furthermore, this year we are actively promoting collaboration among parents, students, and teachers to celebrate our cultural roots. Our collective efforts extend towards sustainable development. Through collaborative initiatives, we aim to instil a sense of responsibility in our students towards the environment and the community.
